"Bao-" Luhan calls out but immediately changes to Minseok when he sees the latter glares at him and the last thing he wants is for Minseok to unfriend him. "Let's go swimming Minseokie!"
Minseok rolls his eyes at the extra letters Luhan decided to add to his name but nods nonetheless. It's a nice day for swimming and he hasn't swam in ages, it would be nice to hit the water again. Smiling to himself, Minseok takes off his t-shirt, not noticing the perverted smirk on Luhan's face. On the count of three, both of them jump in and join Jongin in the cool water. It doesn't take long for everyone else to join in, well, almost everyone.
"You're not joining?" Jongdae lifts his head up to the deep voice, only to find Kris sitting down next to him. Jongdae doesn't answer, he just stares instead. Kris is indeed very handsome and his skin is really smooth and it makes Jongdae feel a little jealous. Jongdae doesn't realize he's still staring until Kris snaps his fingers and cocks an eyebrow.
"Oh... uh...i" Jongdae mumbles, he doesn't want to answer this question but Kris still looks at him expectantly.
"Well, uhm ...idon'tknowhowtoswim" He whispers in one quick sentence, hoping Kris doesn't hear but he does. Kris blinks for a moment before bursting out laughing.
"You don't know how to swim? What?" Kris says in between his laughing and Jongdae frowns. He doesn't think it's funny. He trusts Kris enough to tell him and this is what he gets? He should have lied instead.
"Seriously, how old are you?" Kris continues on, not seeing the frown on Jongdae's face. "How can you not know how to swim? You're practically an adult! Didn't your parents teach you-" Kris tops laughing when he see Jongdae lowering his head down while biting his lips.
"Hey -" He pokes Jongdae's shoulder and is surprised with what came out of Jongdae's mouth.
"I don't have parents" Jongdae says bitterly.
Kris's mouth forms an o shape. Well, that's new. Shit, now he feels guilty. Kris is beginning to feel very annoyed at Jongdae right now because this kid keeps making him feels all the things he never felt before. When did he ever feel guilty? He probably doesn't even know what it means then. And now look at him.
The awkward atmosphere is getting unbearable. Kris feels even worse every times he glances at Jongdae because Jongdae looks like a kicked-puppy with his pouting lips and sad eyes. Kris let out a sigh and nudges Jongdae's shoulder slightly before standing up.
"C'mon, let's go" He says, trying to sound nonchalantly but it turns out awkward instead.
"Go where?"
"I'll teach you how to swim" He mutters and Jongdae widens his eyes and shakes his head frantically. "N-no"
"Why not? You need to learn how to swim, it'll come in handy" Kris comments and drags Jongdae up but the latter refuses.
"N-no hyung"
Kris grimaces and stares at Jongdae. "Why not?"
"I..I-it's embarrassing" Jongdae says quietly after glancing over to the river where his friends are. Kris catches his gaze and understands.
"Let's go to the other side of the river, they won't see you" Kris smirks and pulls Jongdae with him, much to the latter protests.

"Luhan stop it!!" Minseok shrieks when he feels water being splashed in his face, he doesn't need to look who know who's doing it. "Luhan!"
Luhan laughs and finally stops, he takes a few steps forward and helps Minseok wipes his face which causes the latter to blush a bit.
"You're so whiny Minseokie" Luhan grins and Minseok growls. Again with the extra letters.
"Shut up, why can't you go annoy someone else?"
"Because" Luhan grins and pokes his cheeks. "I like you better"
Minseok glares at him. He doesn't understand why Luhan is still trying to sweet-talk him since he already forgave the latter. There isn't a point in getting on his good side anymore and also, it makes him feel weird. Luhan is looking at him weirdly, as if waiting for him to say something but instead, Minseok uses this opportunity to splash water in his face instead. He laughs when Luhan shrieks in surprise.
"Serve you right" He smirks and swims to shore where Chanyeol is bugging Baekhyun about their date but too bad for him, Luhan manages to grab his arm before Minseok can go so far.
Luhan pulls Minseok backward and Minseok's back meets Luhan's flat tummy and he squirms. Luhan picks him up and swirls him around easily in the water and Minseok screams while flailing his arms around. He tries to get away but the position he's in makes it impossible and for a skinny guy, Luhan's grip is pretty strong.
"Yah! Luhan put me down this instant!"
"No" Luhan chuckles when Minseok fails to escape.
"Luhan!! Let me go!"
"Fine, but only if you say please" Luhan smirks and Minseok growls at him but Luhan doesn't care, he swirls Minseok a couple of times until Minseok finally stutters out the magic word.
"Good boy" Luhan pats his head after releasing him. Minseok puffs out his cheeks angrily and pushes Luhan away while mumbling some profanities under his breath, making Luhan laughs in return.

"I swear Chanyeol, if you bother me one more time there will be no date!" Baekhyun scowls. He's getting sick of Chanyeol's constant whining about their stupid date.
Chanyeol pouts and shakes his head in a cute manners (or gross, according to Baekhyun). "Nuh uh, you can't take it back!"
Baekhyun groans and face-palms himself. "Can't you just go play with Jongin or something?" He asks and Chanyeol shakes his head again.
"Ugh what's wrong with you?" Baekhyun mumbles quietly. He considers drowning himself then and there if that's what it takes for him to get away from Chanyeol but thank goodness, Sehun is coming toward them and Baekhyun has never felt so happy.
"Sehunnie!! You're here!" Baekhyun beams and spreads his arms out to Sehun, who then gives him an odd look while Chanyeol pouts on the side.
Sehun wants to ask what's wrong with him but decides against it, he doesn't really care anyway. Sehun hops out of the water and sits next to Baekhyun despite Chanyeol's whine. Baekhyun turns to the youngest and pokes his arm playfully.
"What's up with the grumpy face?"
Sehun cocks a brow and shrugs. "What do you mean? This is my normal face"
Baekhyun laughs. Sehun sighs because he knows Baekhyun doesn't buy it. Baekhyun is sharp and somehow he always knows what's going on. It's one of his annoying charm.
"It's nothing hyung. Really" Sehun says finally and Baekhyun smiles, still not buying it but he isn't going to force it out of Sehun.
"Whatever, suit yourself" Baekhyun says as he stands up."I'm gonna go back and change, i'm all wet and gross"
"P.S If you like him so much, maybe you should ask him out instead of sitting here and sulking just because he's playing with someone else" Baekhyun whispers in his ears before walking away and Sehun's body tenses at his stupid advice.
"Yah! Oh Sehun, what did Baekhyunie tell you?" Chanyeol hisses as he pushes Sehun's shoulder and Sehun can only blinks in embarrassment. Damn Baekhyun.

Kris laughs as he looks at Jongdae clinging onto his arms. This kid is helpless. They have been in the water for a little more than ten minutes and Jongdae won't let go of Kris's arm no matter how many times the latter tells him that the water is very shallow.
"Jongdae, seriously. You need to let out of my arm so i can teach you how to swim"
"N-no, what if i drown?" Jongdae cries and Kris shakes his head.
"Just trust me, the water is only up to your chest. You won't drown, at least not with me here"
Jongdae looks at him hesitantly and slowly removes his hands but still standing close enough just in case.
"Okay, now hold my hands like this, just slightly okay?" Kris says and Jongdae immediately grabs his hands.
"Jongdae, i said slightly" Kris chuckles and Jongdae bites his lips and loosens his grips. "Sorry"
Kris spends the next hour teaching Jongdae the basic techniques and surprises himself for being so patience because Kris is no where near patience. Not to mention, Jongdae has been splashing a ton of water in Kris's face because he has a habit of kicking too hard. Kris isn't mad and it's weird, he ends up laughing instead and that is one of the thing he doesn't do very often.
"Hyung, can we take a little break?" Jongdae asks a little hesitantly, as if he's afraid of hurting Kris's feelings which is stupid, because Kris doesn't have much feelings. Or so he thinks.
"Uh yeah sure" He says.
Then there it is again, Jongdae has somehow manages to give Kris another weird feeling. What is it this time? Disappointment? He sighs and follows after Jongdae out the water. He tells himself that he's getting sick of Jongdae being so slow anyway, at the rate they were going, he might as well just give up except he doesn't really want to.
When they get back, everyone is already there. Suho and Yixing are making the fire, Luhan and Minseok are talking about something or more like Luhan pissing Minseok off once again, Baekhyun is probably giving Sehun his advice again and Sehun is obviously getting annoyed with it while Chanyeol just stares at Baekhyun with a creepy grin on his face.
Jongdae skips excitedly toward the group and Kris swears Luhan is smirking at him. Judging from the look on his face, Kris knows that Luhan is up to no good but he's too tired to do anything about it this moment. He just realizes that it's pretty late and he hasn't eaten anything except for the cup of ramen noodle in the morning. He decides to change into new clothes first then eat, he hates sitting around in wet clothes anyway.
